The campaign is entirely reliant on the help of volunteers. Even if you don't have much time to spare, you can still make a difference. Simply by encouraging your neighbours to sign up to our newsletter, or by offering to leaflet your street, your contribution will really count.

Here are some of the things you can do to help support the campaign:

Leaflet your street

We sometimes need to get the message out quickly, and because not everyone uses the internet, leafletting is very important to us.

You can leaflet just your street or perhaps two or three streets in your neighbourhood. But whatever you do will be a huge help to the campaign, email us to find out more.

PWA awareness stalls

On some weekends, we run awareness stalls at the local farmers' market or community event.  These are important because they enable us to update local residents on the latest campaign developments.  All volunteers are supported and briefed on the key messages to get across, and it can be fun to meet up with fellow campaigners.  If you are interested in spending the occasional hour or two in this way, please email us and we will contact you with details of our forthcoming awareness stall events.

Write to your local politicians

If letter writing is more your thing, we would love to hear from you.  Please help pile on the political pressure by writing to your local councillor, MP, London Assembly member and the Mayor. We can help provide support with this. See our political page for contact links.

Offer us your skills

We are urgently looking for volunteers with useful skills to help with various aspects of the campaign e.g. PR, legal, admin, accounts, planning etc. Again, you don't need vast amounts of spare time to be able to make a real contribution. Let us know what you could bring to the team.

Help raise funds

We are up against fantastically well-resourced opponents.  We, however, have to raise every single penny we spend. So anything you can do to help us raise funds will have a positive impact on our ability to fight this mad proposal.  For example, you might want to team up with a friend to raise money by doing something fun for your family, community or school.  Download some ideas to get you going.

If you don't have any time to contribute but would like to support the campaign, please consider making a donation or setting up a regular standing order.
